Things of Purpose

I am writing thoughts that have recently come to me and that will come to me as I write. In the present moment 'things of purpose' is resonating, strongly. I am reaching in to myself with bold truth and asking what is the meaning of purpose in my life. For that matter, what is the meaning of purpose in my relationships, or in the things I have in my home space, or for the feelings or responses in my life. Purpose. What is purpose? I am sure there are definitions out there; obviously there are. I am going to stick with what purpose means for me and how it is playing a role in my life lesson right now. I started this thought process by pondering a specific relationship in my life and the purpose in that relationship. Or more so, what is the purpose of purpose in this relationship. Is there a purpose. Regarding the relationship, do we both relate when it comes to having purpose between one another. I value core truth in my interaction and relationships with others. In this particular relationship, I feel the purpose has been lost in a way. I feel that this is so because I do not sense a connection, or a true relating when I interact with this person. I may have even filled in the role of purpose with another person. So in other words, I am using another person as the purpose to relate to this individual. There was a time in this relationship that the purpose created fun and adventure, and even a shared love in feelings and activities. At the time that the experience of purpose was fun and living adventurously, I did not ask what I am asking now. I did not ask what the purpose of the purpose in our relationship was. Instead, I just let the experience take its course, without hesitation or observation. So like a relationship with anything else in life, such as a relationship to a car, or home or ice cream or a dog, anything, it continued until the purpose either was defined even more or was missing in action/misplaced....in this case the later. This is a realization that I am grateful for. So I can now take an inventory of all that is in my experience right now and the purpose, and for that matter all that is in ME and the purpose. In my soul. In my dreams. In my thoughts. I feel that for the things/people/places in my life that have changed in purpose, there was a destiny that played out in time. Sometimes it was a challenge to accept the destiny, and sometimes it was my choice or action that created the change. What was the purpose of us coming together? What is the purpose of me and this person to remain connected or to relate? What role does the purpose play in my life now and moving forward? I will get to respond to these questions and in this situation I feel it will be a choice in creating a change for this relationship to take its destined path. My purpose for relationships, which is what I believe the God in me and in all things intends for me, is to add to the joy in my life and theirs, and to give feedback in order to grow and blossom the gardens of love that God gave us to tend to. God gave us friendship so that we could help each other and become all the beauty and health intended by God. I will ask myself, regarding the relationships I have with the people/places/things in my life: Does this relationship nourish all gardens involved?

More thoughts related to purpose. I was thinking about bridges....to be cont.
